Steak & Bourbon: A Culinary Experience of Whiskey and Fine Steaks

A top notch eating experience. The live music , extremely friendly wait staff and expertly prepared food. I had the Foie gras which was perfectly prepared wonderful consistency and great finishing taste. Also had the 12 oz new York strip with their shepherds pie. Don't sleep on this combo. Absolutely one of the best pairings I've had in a while. Fully enjoyed my time there

We have only eaten at the Westport location. Service has always been good. I have eaten every steak they have to offer. It isn’t my favorite steak house but it is pretty good. I will say they have the best salad I have ever eaten.

Wow, this is a gem. Atmosphere was nice. We had dirty martinis, burbon ball martinis, and old fashiones. All were fantastic. The lobster bisque was on point and the ribeye was perfection. Do not pass on this one...

After a less than pleasant interaction at the host stand, the service and food lived up to the hype/reviews. As a table we tried several offerings from starters/salads straight through to dessert. Everything was REALLY good. The bread with tallow candle was beyond spectacular. The steaks(filet and ribeye) were some of the best we've had and the short rib was fantastic. Desserts upheld the bar and finished the meal splendidly. Just for situational awareness it is pretty dark inside and was quite noisy, but neither distracted much from the meal. Just know going in it's about the food not the socializing.

We enjoyed our parents night out with a delightful dinner! The cocktails were all great, we especially loved the Kentucky samurai and bourbon smash! Our soups of choice unanimous as we all picked French onion soup! It more than met our expectations! The wedge salad was delicious and the candy bacon was perfect! As far as our main courses go the ribeyes were impressive and cooked to perfection as were the filets. I ordered the three filet medallions and the best way to describe it was almost like a flight. Each one had its own different “dressing”- I was very happy with the variety! The deserts were a lovely ending the only complaint was the cream brulee had a very thick sugar crust- it was slightly difficult to chew. The bread pudding came out on fire and was just as delicious as it looked! It was slightly loud in the restaurant and that’s my reasoning for 4/5 however it didn’t take away from our overall experience!!

We visited on Valentines Day. The lobster was really, really good. The filet was probably a 7 out of 10. It was underwhelming compared to the price point. I have no problem paying the price but the quality lacked on the steak. Appetizers, sides and desserts were really good. Drinks were mixed perfectly. The only complaint was the filet. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because it was a busy night. Server was awesome. I can't remember his name, I usually try to give them a little shout out. My apologies. Overall very good restaurant and experience.

Okay, so first off, the whole staff is totally on point with service, seriously, I notice the little things. This place is super classy, like, they work together perfectly, it's amazing. So, I took my wife here, and she loved the carrots, the filet mignon, and the lobster bisque was a big hit with her. I got the medium-rare seared filet mignon, and the brussel sprouts were so flavorful, it was incredible. I finished it off with an espresso martini that the awesome bartender suggested, and now I'm hooked! If you need a spot to go, or you're bringing someone, or trying to impress your significant other, I totally recommend this place. They have these cozy, intimate areas with leather couches jazz music in the background and chairs where you can eat, with beautiful lighting, and valet parking. This is a must-try, like, top five on your list if you're ever in Louisville, Kentucky, you gotta go.

We made reservations for our anniversary, and we had a memorable experience! Em was our server and was amazing. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and was attentive to our needs throughout. She was very friendly and made us feel welcome immediately from the moment she walked up to the table. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better for special night. When we go back we will ask for her! We ordered NY Strip steaks cooked medium, and they came out perfect. The best steak I’ve had in a long time. The flavors were on point. I ordered a plain sweat potato as my side, and it was also very tasty and cooked just right. We also ordered drinks from the bar and soup which were good. With drinks, soup, and the steaks, our bill was a little over $200. When we go out for steaks, we will be back. I highly recommend. Thank you for such a great night! Btw, you probably need reservations before heading out - they’re pretty busy.
